Sands delivers a soul-stirring performance at Bahle Gallery

Bahle Gallery in Mbabane hosted a captivating evening of Poetry & Acoustics on October 30, 2025.
The event was brought about by a collaboration between Bahle Gallery and Umsamo we Culture. The night as promised, delivered an engaging blend of artistic expression and musical entertainment with a live performance by Sandziso Matsebula, an Eswatini-born musician, singer and songwriter known by his stage name, Sands.
With tickets only at E200, guests were given a multifaceted evening that included a gallery tour which enhanced the ambience and experience overall.
Sands took centre stage for a live performance, which combined poetry and acoustics that brought unique entertainment to the audience. This fusion of art forms was sure to create a memorable night of culture and creativity.
“It was definitely worth fighting against the weather to be here,” stated one of the attendees of the show.
The ‘Poetry & Acoustics’ event was a testament to the creative collaboration between Bahle Gallery and Umsamo we Culture, which aimed to bring compelling entertainment to the audience.
The warm and inviting atmosphere of Bahle Gallery provided an ideal setting for Sands’ performance, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a unique cultural experience.
“Even the rain couldn’t drown the magic,” commented Irvin Bwalya, an attendee of the show. “The live performance at Bahle Gallery lit up the night with pure soul and connection,” Bwalywa added.
Sands’ live performance was the highlight of the evening, with his angelic voice stunning the audience as they bobbed their heads and sang along.
The crowd was mesmerised by Sands’ soulful voice, and the infectious energy added to the artistic vibe, creating a memorable night of culture and creativity.
In the words of aspiring young artist Andile Nxumalo, “The energy was very wild when the crowd was shouting ‘we want more’, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Sands is just something else,” he stated.
The audience was thoroughly enjoying the vibe, sipping wine, and dancing to Sands’ performance, clearly entranced by the talent on stage. The atmosphere was electric, with the audience fully immersed in the music and the moment.
