Vintage weekend to celebrate timeless class

Espinho Rest & Lounge, in collaboration with the Gentleman Classic Riders, is set to take Eswatini on a nostalgic journey back to the 1960s with the much-anticipated Ezam’zukwana Vintage Weekend.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2025, promises to blend elegance, rhythm, and vintage culture into one unforgettable celebration.

The weekend affair is expected to transform Espinho Rest & Lounge into a lively showcase of retro charm, complete with a vintage car parade, soulful music, and classic fashion.

The organisers have created an atmosphere that will remind guests of an era when cars defined character, fashion reflected grace, and music carried the heartbeat of a generation.

The Ezam’zukwana Vintage Weekend aims to honour the spirit of the 60s, a time remembered for sophistication, creativity, and cultural pride.

The celebration will bring together old-school car enthusiasts, music lovers, and those who appreciate timeless elegance. From the polished chrome of the classic cars to the carefully selected playlists, every detail is designed to immerse guests in the aura of the past.

The highlight of the evening will be the Cars Parade, which will showcase some of the most iconic vehicles of the 1960s. It will serve as a living museum of motoring history, where each car tells a story of craftsmanship and nostalgia.

The organisers have encouraged attendees to come dressed in 60s-style fashion, with the best-dressed guest set to receive a special prize.

Music will be the heartbeat of the event. A lineup of celebrated DJs, including DJ Kelly (Old Skool), DJ Maye, DJ Mfundo, DJ Fortuna, and Mike, will curate an old-school sound experience featuring the golden hits of soul, funk, and rhythm and blues. Adding to the night’s entertainment will be live performances by Shinely Greenz and Fitzhamagi, artists known for their soulful stage presence and appreciation of retro-inspired sounds.

The organisers have emphasised that Ezam’zukwana Vintage Weekend is more than just a themed gathering, it is a revival of cultural pride.

The Gentleman Classic Riders, well known for their passion for retro automobiles, will contribute their signature charm through the display of rare vintage cars.

Their participation underscores the event’s mission of preserving heritage through creativity and craftsmanship.

Entrance to the event will be E50 for all, while those who prefer exclusive experience will have access to VIP parking at E150. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the car parade and the fashion showcase.

A Friday Pre-Party, taking place on October 28, 2025, will offer free entry to all, serving as a curtain-raiser for the main event.
