It’s going down to the wire.

Ezulwini United have opened the MTN Premier League title race.

This follows their 1-0win over defending champions Nsingizini Hotspurs at King Sobhuza II Stadium on Monday.

The Musa Manyatsi-led side’s shocking victory came through Congolese striker Alrick Pandemoya first half goal, which reduced the Shiselweni-based side’s lead at the top of the standings by five points.

The Mandla Qhogi-led side is still sitting at the summit of the standings with 55 points ahead of the second-placed Manzini Sea Birds at 50 points.

‘Izinyoni Zolwandle ‘as Sea Birds are fondly known will take on Amawele on Friday at Mhlume Stadium.

Meanwhile, Nsingizini will take on Green Mamba in the SMVAF Ingwenyama cup final on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
