His Majesty King Mswati III has invited congregants to the annual end-of-year national worship service scheduled for Saturday, 31 October at Mandvulo Grand Hall, Lozitha.
The announcement was made at Ludzidzini Royal Residence by Princess Tsandzisiwe, who said the service will start at 10am sharp.
She said congregants are requested to keep time to ensure the service commences on schedule.
The year-end prayer service is a long-standing national tradition where the nation gathers to thank God for His guidance throughout the year and to pray for continued peace, stability, good health and prosperity in the coming year.
Princess Tsandzisiwe said all Christians are welcome and encouraged to attend in numbers.
She further urged congregants to arrive early to avoid delays and allow for orderly seating ahead of the arrival of Their Majesties.
Princess Tsandzisiwe appointed to oversee religious affairs
His Majesty King Mswati III has appointed Princess Tsandzisiwe to oversee religious affairs and institutional engagement with churches across the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The appointment was announced by Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze. It follows the passing of Princess Lindiwe, who previously held responsibilities related to engagement with churches and religious matters.
Chief Gamedze clarified that the appointment does not make Princess Tsandzisiwe the Minister of Home Affairs. Her role will focus specifically on religious affairs and coordination with churches nationwide.
He said Princess Tsandzisiwe will serve as the link between the Crown and the church community, facilitating communication, supporting church activities and ensuring alignment on matters of national spiritual interest.
