The Beauty & Wellness Summit Gives Back: A Day of Joy, Books, and Hope
By Staff Reporter
The organisers of the Eswatini Beauty & Wellness Summit 2025 brought their vision for community upliftment to life through a day filled with giving, joy, and new beginnings.
Summit founders Cara Breero, Dr. Bongiwe Shongwe, and Khumbu Damini visited Kholwane Community Library to donate tables and chairs for preschoolers, as well as a variety of books for all ages.
Thanks to funds raised at the July summit, this effort hopes to encourage reading and offer a welcoming space for young learners and the whole community.
Later that afternoon, the team visited Remar Orphanage in Manzini, where Sarah, her husband, and the 23 children welcomed them. The visit celebrated a big step for the orphanage: their first regular meat delivery, made possible by a new partnership that will bring fresh meat every two weeks.

For months, Remar has asked for help to meet the children’s nutritional needs, often depending on food drives and occasional donations.
The meat drive is still very important, and the orphanage is reaching out to donors for canned goods, non-perishables, and other essentials.
The day ended with laughter and happiness as each child received a party pack and a personal gift, showing them that they are seen, valued, and loved.
The Summit team expressed gratitude to their sponsors, Oracle Group, Lamelle Research Laboratories, The Clinic Group, and Mbabane City Council, whose support made it possible to raise funds for the three chosen charities: Remar Orphanage, My Mental Haven, and Bawws Foundation.
“This is only the beginning,” said Cara. “Our goal is not just to host an event, but to create lasting impact. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces reminds us why we do this.”
