Magesi FC didn’t start the current Betway Premiership League season very well as they had not won a game until last week when they beat Siwelele FC 2-0 at Seshego Stadium in Polokwane.

Magesi goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze said that they are aware that the start is not good but they its a process for them to get things right again.
Talking to the media during the launch of the Carling Knockout at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Monday afternoon the Zimbabwean international said that since they have a new coach and new players the process is bound to take time.

“We started a little bit down but now we are trying to get there. It is a process and remember he is a new gaffer, new environment and new players so it is a process. We have to keep on working hard because these things happen in football.

The most important thing is the consistency. Now that we have picked our first (three points), we just have to keep the momentum going,” Chipezeze told journalists.

Meanwhile the Zimbabwean international further added that its good that people recognise his good work which he puts on not just on the game day but also during training.

“To recognise the work that you are putting in because it doesn’t just come on match day. It is also work that is put behind the scenes. Credit to the guys that I’m working with because they make me who I am.

We just have to continue making them proud and putting a smile on their faces. It is a good draw for us. On the road again just like last season, we started the fixture on the road.

It is a good fixture playing against a team that we played recently. With the experience that they have we will try to make our fans happy because they have been there with us. Consistency is key.We are excited to be here,” Chipezeze observed.
