HRH Prince Shiyumcwasho graduates with Hons from Kingston University in the UK

His Royal Highness Prince Shiyumcwasho graduated with a Bachelor of Civil & Infrastructure Engineering BEng(Hons) from Kingston University in the United Kingdom.

The graduation ceremony took place at The Rose Theatre in Kingston upon Thames on 22 July 2025, where the prince received his degree before a gathering of family members, academic staff, and fellow graduates.

Her Royal Highness Princess Sibusezweni has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Management specializing in Marketing from Regent’s University, London on the 30th July 2025.

The ceremony took place at the stunning St Marylebone Church, blending tradition with the excitement of a new beginning for Princess Ezwe and her fellow graduates.

The graduation ceremonies of HRH Prince Mcwasho and HRH Princess Ezwe was a memorable celebration of achievement, marking the beginning of a promising chapter for the young Prince and Princess.
The event was attended by Inkhosikati Make LaMagongo, HRH Princess Qethuka, Emazinyane, Minister of Foreign Affairs Senator Pholile Shakantu and High Commissioner Thandazile Mbuyisa.

Buckswood School Director Mr Giles Sutton acknowledged His Majesty’s vision and wisdom in posing to educate Emazinyane overseas – just as he was. He said:

“It takes courage to send your children far from home. But it also takes foresight – to see that learning how the world works is the first step in learning how to change it.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation congratulated Prince Shiyumcwasho and Princess Sibusezweni on behalf of His Majesty King Mswati III.

She said: “We are very proud to be celebrating this remarkable milestone in the life of Prince Mcwasho and Princess Ezwe. Education serves as a fundamental key that unlocks doors to countless opportunities and deepens one’s understanding of the world

. The education you have both earned will empower you to develop critical thinking and leadership skills which are essential for navigating complex societal challenges to contribute meaningfully to the nation.”

Prince Mcwasho speaking on behalf of himself and Princess Ezwe thanked His Majesty for encouraging them to pursue education and for giving them the opportunity to study overseas.

He thanked all friends and family who have supported them throughout their academic journey and those who travelled to attend their education.
