EVA Air and Southwest Airlines Announce New Interline Partnership to Strengthen U.S.–Asia Travel Connectivity

EVA Air and Southwest Airlines have launched an interline agreement that opens new travel opportunities for passengers between Asia and the United States. The partnership allows EVA Air travelers to seamlessly connect to more than 30 U.S. cities—including Denver, Las Vegas, Nashville, Tampa, and Baltimore—via Southwest’s domestic network. By integrating EVA Air’s international routes with Southwest’s extensive U.S. coverage, passengers can enjoy smoother connections and explore more destinations across America on a single trip.

This collaboration also aims to offer competitive fares while expanding options for both leisure and business travelers across Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and North America. With enhanced connectivity, EVA Air passengers benefit from a more streamlined travel experience linking Asia and the U.S.

Strategic Expansion in the Global Aviation Market
For EVA Air, this agreement represents a significant step in strengthening its position in the U.S. market. Currently operating 89 weekly flights to major U.S. and Canadian destinations, EVA Air leads among Taiwanese carriers in North American service. By late 2025, its schedule will expand to 94 weekly flights, further reinforcing its North American footprint.

Through this partnership, EVA Air customers will now have access to over 100 U.S. cities, while Southwest gains exposure to new international markets. Together, the airlines are positioned to better serve a growing customer base, combining EVA Air’s Asia-Pacific strength with Southwest’s dominance in the U.S. domestic sector.
