Gogo & Co brings ‘Lugodvo Kimi’ comedy show to South Africa

Eswatini’s comedy scene is set to make waves beyond its borders as the talented ensemble of comedians, Gogo, S’lwane, Slim Bee, and Hembe, prepare to take their acclaimed and trending content, ‘Lugodvo Kimi,’ to South Africa.
The much-anticipated live comic theatre event is scheduled for October 3, 2025, at KaMhlushwa T-Vet College in Nkomazi, South Africa, starting at 7 pm.
‘Lugodvo Kimi’ content, which has gained significant popularity through its viral video, is now being transformed into a live performance that promises to deliver laughter, entertainment, and a fresh comedic experience.
Tickets are priced at E150 for general admission and E250 for VIP access, making it accessible to a wide range of comedy lovers eager to enjoy the unique humour that Gogo & Co are known for.
In an exclusive interview, Gogo, one of the leading figures in the troupe, shared insights into the inspiration behind the live show.

“The idea came from the overwhelming response to our ‘Lugodvo Kimi’ video. Fans have been urging us to bring it to life on stage, and we are excited to do just that,” he explained.
The show aims to offer more than just entertainment; it seeks to open conversations on sensitive topics through humour, providing a safe space for audiences to reflect and laugh simultaneously.
Gogo emphasised the therapeutic power of comedy, stating, “We believe that comedy can be a powerful tool to relieve stress and reduce feelings of depression.
Our goal is to create an environment where people can forget their worries for a while and enjoy a night filled with joy and laughter.”
